We believe conservation begins with education. And you’ve been helping students discover the wonders of nature! With your support, they’re learning why it’s so important to protect endangered species like the Sumatran tiger.
The APE Protector team recently launched the Explore Program at the Sumatran Tiger Information Room. An immersive experience designed to inspire a love for wildlife and conservation.
For 199 students in the Rimbo Panti area, it wasn’t just another school trip. It was a journey into the wild! Students from seven Elementary Schools had the opportunity to:
- Read conservation books
- Explore the gallery and artificial cave
- Learn how trail cameras track wildlife like the Sumatran tiger
- Walk through wetland areas
- Visit the magnificent Rimbo Panti hot springs
- Take part in waste management education
This incredible experience helped students connect with the precious forests they call home. And most importantly, it's inspiring them to become future nature protectors!
