School Visits
The Tiger Patrol team has been very busy lately, bringing conservation to life inside classrooms. In recent months, they visited two elementary schools in the Bonjol district of West Sumatra, reaching 110 students with hands-on, interactive activities.
Students learned about the tigers and wildlife they live alongside. They discovered how healthy forests support their own communities. And they heard a simple but powerful message: the land and animals we share our home with are worth protecting.
These aren't just lessons. They're the seeds of lifelong commitment, growing in the hearts of children who will one day be the decision-makers, the voters, the forest stewards. And you planted those seeds.
Spreading the Word
Beyond the classroom, the Tiger Patrol team has been spreading awareness far and wide. More than 500 colourful, educational posters have gone up in schools, public spaces, and government offices, alongside wildlife warning signs that remind communities tigers are near, and worth protecting.
Each poster is a small act of love for the rainforest. Multiplied by hundreds, it's a movement.
A Place Where Anyone Can Learn
The Tiger Information Centre is a community hub where schools, universities, and curious locals can come together to learn about Sumatran tigers and why saving them matters.
Recently, university students gathered there for educational workshops. The next wave of conservationists, researchers, and advocates finding inspiration in the wild.
And at the University of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Tiger Patrol team set up an information booth, connecting directly with students, academics, and conservation practitioners. Real conversations. Real connections. Real impact.
